São Pedro Sugarcane Mill, where Cachaça Triunfo is produced, dates from the beginning of the last century and has been renovated in recent years. Its recovery arose from the will of the owner, Pedro Gomes de Oliveira Junior, grandson of the mill’s owner at that time, to produce high-quality cachaça and rapadura (unrefined sugar made from raw cane juice and produced in blocks), following the precepts of organic (Ecologically Correct) products.
In 2002, he had the mill renovated and started our production, which has more than 18 years of existence, in the city he was passionate about, Triunfo. Pedro Júnior was a born entrepreneur. He dedicated his life to the Tourism of Triunfo and also to accomplish his dreams. Studious and researcher, he developed our cachaça with dedication and perseverance. He leaves this legacy of a unique cachaça, produced in the highlands of Pernambuco.
Cachaça Triumpho is distilled in copper stills and aged in oak barrels. It has singular characteristics of aroma and flavor provided by the special procedures of both, sugarcane cultivation and production, which take place in high-altitude lands.

There are hundreds of artisanal stills in Brazil that produce artisanal cachaça. Many of them come from families’ traditions which passed from father to son, whose secrets are kept as a domestic heritage. One of the secrets is the base of the sugarcane must fermentation, an alchemy of yeasts obtained in the very environment of the mill, perhaps this is the “magic dust”. Sugarcane is cultivated close to the still area.
There are no burns of the sugarcane fields. Sugarcane is cleaned and sent to the mill.
Sugarcane juice is fermented in a period between 24 to 30 hours. A preparation, made at the mill, from the sugarcane must and yeast is used to start the fermentation process.
Distillation happens in a copper still. Sugarcane bagasse is used to produce heat.
The noblest part of the Cachaça is called “heart”. The “head” and the “tail” are reused to sanitize the productive area.
This special part, extracted from the rest, (“tail” and “head”), goes to aging, before being bottled and consumed.

Opens 7 days a week, from 8:30am until 4:30pm, where you can visit all the productive stages of the famous and ecologic Cachaça Triumpho, rapaduras and, the also awarded, Sugarcane Liqueur.
On Saturdays, “forró-pé-de-serra” (musical genre, a rhythm, a dance mostly played in the Northeastern Region of Brazil), sugarcane juice, rapadura ice cream, “alfenim” (unrefined sugar made from raw cane juice and produced in a gummy texture while it is hot), besides the possibility of tasting all the products in our shop.

With options of two or five liters it is filled with our traditional cachaça, rested 6 months is freijó wood.

The kit includes a unique banana straw-made box, and an alembic glass suitable for tasting the cachaça.
